ZOMG... We're back!

And despite the fact we are moving house we have two, count 'em two events in July.

The first is a grand opening party for Breathe they are doing some cool things like yoga, spin and art at 2700 Arapahoe and we are going to be there for the opening party. It is going to be a party and half so be sure to check it out. For more information check out our blog post on it here: http://awesomesprints.blogspot.com/2009/06/breathe-opening-party.html

The second is an after-party for the Rocky Mountain Bike Polo Open. Now I've been playing polo for a while now, and if you haven't come out and tried it, you are missing out, it is a blast and a half. ALMOST as much fun as goldsprints. For more information check out our blog post on it here: http://awesomesprints.blogspot.com/2009/06/rocky-mountain-bike-polo-open.html

Thanks for sticking around and we hope you stop back by soon because at Awesome Sprints we are ready to make a name for ourselves and the time starts now.

Both events will be free to race, so now is your time to find out how good you are at Awesome Sprints. Also we will have some sweet spoke cards available at these events so stop by and check them out.

Event Recap: Night 1

So, the first event was so awesome I needed a vacation to recover.  Now that I am back from vacation, planning is underway for the next event.  And the event recap is here:

We had 31 people pay to race.  44 people raced through out the course of the night and to my knowledge everyone there had a blast.

Special thanks to the Boulder Indoor Cycling for providing the sweet Fuji track bikes we used on the night.  Thanks to our sponsors eGo Carshare, the Track Shack and Handlebar and Grill for providing prizes.  And of course none of this would have been possible without Bike Denver.

Time to call your CO State Representative...

...and tell them to vote yes on Senate Bill 148, which among other things establishes 3ft as a safe passing distance.

Go here for more information: http://bicyclecolo.org/page.cfm?PageID=988

This is a really easy thing to do, it took me more time to make this post than to call my representative.
